Warbie’s olive grove is located at Gungunnu farm in the spectacular, fertile Great Southern region of Western Australia.
Here, we proudly produce single origin EVOO using biodynamic practices. The old growth trees are cared for by hand amongst the kangaroos, foxes, birds, bees and ladybugs.

The family owned grove is named after the Egerton-Warburton family, whose farming heritage in the area dates back to the early 1800’s and continues on today.

About the Gungunnu grove.
25 year old trees
2,327 trees were planted in the grove over 25 years ago when the olive oil industry started development in the region. The award winning oil comes from mature, high production trees that are strong and have deep roots gaining all they need from the rich soil. The olive varieties across the grove are mixed, with Frantoio making up the main type.
Harvest to press in 12 hours
From harvest to press in under 12 hours. No additives are used in the pressing processes. We only produce 100% pure cold pressed extra virgin olive oil.
No chemicals or pesticides
Healthy happy trees resist disease and pests. We don’t use any harsh chemicals and maintain organic farming practices in the grove.
First harvest, single grove
Harvested in July each year, our oil isn’t mixed or blended with later, lower quality oil. We harvest the grove only once per year and bottle the oil unfiltered to retain the health benefits of traditionally processed olive oil.
Great Southern soils
Featuring ancient, elevated granite soils and excellent air drainage, Frankland River sub-region region is a powerhouse for food production and traditional farming. The land here produces world-class cool-climate wines, premium grains, livestock, and produce.
Pruned by hand
We care for our trees the traditional way, by hand pruning and maintaining the grove. Avoiding using heavy machinery keeps the trees stress free and healthy.
